Data collection

Log-Data

When you visit our website or use our services, the device you use to access the page automatically transmits log data (connection data) to the server of our provider.

Log data contain the IP address of the device with which you access the website or a service, the type of browser with which you access, the website you have previously visited, possibly your system configuration as well as the date and time. The provider only stores IP addresses to the extent that it is necessary to provide our services. Otherwise the IP addresses will be deleted or anonymized. The provider stores your IP address when you visit our website for a maximum of 7 days.

Cookies and Pixel

We use cookies and pixels at various points on our website.
Cookies are small identifiers that a server saves on the device with which you access our website or our services. They contain information that can be called up when accessing our services and thus enable more efficient and better use of our offers.

In addition, cookies are also used, among other things, to collect statistical values on our website, for example the number of visitors. You can prevent the setting of cookies at any time by means of a corresponding setting in your internet browser and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If you deactivate the setting of cookies in the internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be fully usable. Pixels are small graphics on websites that enable log file recording and log file analysis, which are often used for statistical evaluations.

We use the following tracking and analysis tools:

  • Google Analytics: The operating company of the Google Analytics component is Google Inc. The purpose is to analyze the flow of visitors to our website. Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website in order to compile online reports for us. Google Analytics places a cookie in your browser. By setting the cookie, Google is enabled to analyze the use of our website. Every time a website is accessed on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, the internet browser is automatically prompted to transmit data to Google. No personal data is transmitted to Google. The IP address we collect is only forwarded to Google after it has been anonymized. It is possible to object to the collection and processing of this data by Google. To do this, you need to download and install a browser add-on from the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Google can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ Google Analytics is explained in more detail under this link https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/

Server log files and web analytics

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • the operating system used
  • More mature URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data will not be merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 f GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures. Web analytics is used when you use or visit our website. Tracking and logging are activated by default. The data is determined either by a pixel or by a log file. WebAnalytics does not use cookies to protect personal data.

WebAnalytics does not store any personal data from website visitors so that no conclusions can be drawn about the individual visitors. IP address in anonymized form (is only used to determine the location of access) In WebAnalytics, data is collected exclusively for statistical evaluation and technical optimization of the website. This data will not be disclosed to third parties.

Email

Information that you provide to us via email is provided voluntarily. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries using the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

reCAPTCHA

To protect your Internet-form request, we use the reCAPTCHA service from Google LLC (Google). The query is used to distinguish whether the input is abused by a human or by automated, machine processing, but includes the sending of the IP address and possibly other data required by Google for the service reCAPTCHA to Google. For this purpose, your input is transmitted to Google and used there. However, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the EU or contracting states of the agreement. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the owner of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCaptcha will not be merged with other data from Google. The deviating data protection regulations of the Google company apply to this data. You can find more information about Google's privacy policy at:

Social Media

Facebook plugins (like & share button)

Plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated on our website. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our site. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit our website, the plug-in creates a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our website to your Facebook profile. This enables Facebook to assign your visit to our website to your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or its use by Facebook. You can find more information on this in Facebook's data protection declaration at: https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you do not want Facebook to be able to assign your visit to our website to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.

Instagram

Our website uses the so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from Instagram, which are operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera”.

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Instagram servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Instagram to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or you are not currently logged in to Instagram.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can immediately assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example press the "Instagram" button, this information is also sent directly to a Submitted to the Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on your Instagram account and shown to your contacts there.

If you do not want Instagram to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can find more information on this in Instagram's data protection declaration (https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388)

Youtube

As with the social media plugins, a website with an integrated video saves the IP address of the user when the page is loaded. The storage takes place regardless of whether the visitor clicks on the video or not. Since IP addresses belong to personal data, the data protection regulations must be observed. https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

LinkedIn

Our website continues to use the “share function” of the LinkedIn network. The provider is the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you click on the LinkedIn “share button” (plug-in), you will be forwarded to your user account in a separate browser window - provided you are logged into your LinkedIn user account - and you can view the electronic publication on our website with the addition of a comment divide. The plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the LinkedIn server. This gives LinkedIn the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. In addition, it is then possible for LinkedIn to assign your visit to our website to you and your user account. We point out that we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted (personal) data or their use by LinkedIn. You can find more information on this in LinkedIn's privacy policy at: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
